Experience: 13000 ocean miles / 3000 coastal miles
I started as crew on a private yacht who took part in the very first World ARC. At this time I had great certifications but little experience in sailing. Being only 3 people on board (Captain and owner of the boat (now my husband), another crew and me) everybody did everything. Everybody did their own watches, but I was responsible as well for housekeeping, galley, F&B, shore excursions, entertainment etc. I was on the boat for 8 months straight. Our boat is unfortunately not fit enough anymore for longer voyages, therefore I would like to crew again on another boat. I am competent, responsible, but also easy and fun to have around and there is (almost) nothing I wouldn't do if I am capable of it. I love cooking and did it with all strange and available ingredients around the world - I can make something great out of everything! I love to sail, to cook, to clean (yes!!!), to be together with people and to explore, I am great at organizing and have my own money (full time employed all my life as HR Manager). I am flexible and adaptable and a great team player. Living in tight spaces and sharing is great for me. Meanwhile I have much more experience because since almost 5 years I am working on board AIDA cruise ships as HR Manager. I just love the sea and travelling.
