Ahoy there! I am a good British Guy - responsible, safety-conscious and diligent; but I can be funny too! I am fit and agile and look 10 years younger than my age (so most people say)! I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and cultures and can speak French and German well. I am a good cook and always happy to do my fair share onboard and keen to maintain an excellent watch when on duty. I sailed with family most summers growing up and (slightly belatedly) I am now dedicating myself to a maritime career. I come from an administrative background but enjoy being outdoors far more! I have a Moody 31S which is kept on the South coast of England. I already have some professional qualifications and am building the necessary experience to hopefully become a professional yacht captain in time. I intend to take my YM Offshore early next year. I have good references and have sailed with, and learnt from some very experienced skippers. But I am always keen to learn more! To relax I enjoy watching foreign language films, reading and playing guitar. On land I also like to keep fit cycling. I am not a paying passenger - I offer my professional service with my costs being covered (as with professional yacht delivery passages). If you are interested, please contact me ASAP. I am currently available at very short notice. Kindest regards, Guy | |
