| hi ! my name is Momo I am from rome, I am 53 divorced (now with a partner) I have 3 girls aged from 21 to 16 .. now that they are all studying abroad I have more time for my passion to sail. Would like crew for atlantic crossing this winter- ARC or independent. I have been sailing on catamarans since 2011 ... when I bought with a good friend of mine an Outremer 55. Before that I had some sailing experience but not that much... more about windsurfing and other outdoor sports... skiing cycling and so on With our Outremer we sailed mediterranean sea every summer .... many times sardinia and corsica ... baleari greece .... in the last 3 years we started some regatta activity: We did twice the middle sea race (2019-2020) three times a local 600nm regata called "roma per tutti" (rome to eolie islands and back) and some shorter regattas so... Yes I have done many miles probably > 5000 but a very limited experience as "the boat skipper" ... always sharing decisions with my partner (who has more experience than me) ... the professional skipper (always on board during summers) or other crew members during regattas Now I would like to acquire some ocean experience so that maybe in the next couple of years we participate to the ARC with our beloved outremer,,,, I am physically quite fit for my age, I love sailing (my latest passion is actually wing foiling) and am a very easy going person. | |
