Having had the privilege of being in the Canadian Navy years ago, my love of water above and beneath it has remained with me. In fact, it steadily grew more and more over the years. I eventually bought a 28 ft cruiser .Long story short, I converted to the more challenging and appeal of a sailboat,if you’re a real sailor! I’ve been sailing with a buddy of mine in the last seven or eight years with his 27 foot in and around the lakes of where we live. We often spoke about doing the Caribbean island hopping in chartering a boat. I also opted to do the Mediterranean sea with all its beauty and coastline of many countries and cultures. I’ve been doing my research in the last five years for my retirement how to plan to live it. My years of research have proved fruitful and financially viable to buy a boat and live in it , in and around the Mediterranean sea . My reason for joining this site was to meet up with a community or fraternity if you will ,of sailors with like mind ,in the pleasure if sailing the high seas. I would like to do some transatlantic crossing’s as a mate or crew to get some real nautical miles under my belt ,and add it to my credentials .Eventually, To do transatlantic crossings in my own boat with a crew and skipper it. I'm very easy to get along with, tolerant, and a very calm demeanour . I enjoy and love to do photography, scuba diving ,cooking simple to intricate meals, dance and sing karaoke. Also, most importantly, have a mechanical background in engines and motors. Also, speak 3 languages,English,French, and Italian . Happy sailing everyone!
