| Hello, I am a 23 year old Belgian. I used to work as a commercial pilot for a European airline however due to Covid19 I was made redundant. Because finding another pilot job will prove very difficult during these times, I would like to pursue my other dream and make a long sailing trip. Preferably even an Atlantic crossing. I have extensive sailing experience on catamarans <20ft. Being a sailing instructor on them for the past 7 years. However I do not have any experience on yachts, I am very eager to learn though. My pilot training gives me the advantage that I am no stranger to navigation, weather and communication but I know I have much to learn. Personally I love to laugh, Italian food and adventure. I am not a smoker or drug user and safety is an absolute priority for me. I also have some editing skills and would love to document the trips. | |
