Retired Doctor (GP) and ex Royal Navy/Royal Marines. I learnt to sail aged 7 in Hong Kong harbour and have sailed ever since enjoying both cruising and racing (Finn dinghy and Yachts). I particularly enjoy offshore racing two handed but very happy in cruising crew mode also. Racing includes South China Sea race, 5 Fastnet races both fully crewed and 2 handed, AZAB,Deliveries to and from solent to SW eng and to Portugal, Torbay triangle and multiple cross channel races, Cowes week and Antigua race week.I recently Have been on a few Pacific legs of the World Arc and have just finished the Sydney-Hobart race 2019 Non Smoker but not teetotal. If you run a dry ship I am ok with that however. After a serious illness I am now recovered but retired and enjoying my "grey gap year" travelling and voyaging. I am happy to help you go wherever you want to go whether it's an ocean crossing or hopping down the coast. | |
