Hello dear sailors, skippers and boat owners, Still searching for a reliable and aware crew member for the Carribean in April/May or the ARC Europe? Search no more! In the end of this year, I will start my PhD in cognitive Neuroscience and would like to extend my nautical skills before I get sucked into the academic world. Since I was raised at the Turkish Mediterranean coast I already have strong sailing and boat skills, mainly on monohulls from 38-50ft. Additionally, I am a good swimmer and diver. But I am willing to learn further and do whatever it takes to make our cruising voyage a success. I am flexible with my schedule and available to depart anytime between the beginning of April and July. I am mainly planning to be in the Carribean during this time, looking for a boat heading eastbound. Preferentially with ARC Europe. With my 26 years, I approximately have 1500 nautical miles under my belt due to my time in Turkey. My father was a marine commodore and subsequently long distance captain on container ships, so I received a strict education about safety and navigation on the sea. Nevertheless, my friends describe me as an amiable, aware and friendly person, which I would also expect from my fellow travelers, so we can have enjoyable, stress-free and safe journey. I am looking forward to sail with you ! Best Wishes, Deniz | |
