(Not swell protected shores of England) * I am an American living in Belgium for nearly 20 years so I'm more European than from USA. * In September 2020, I completed 998NM journey as part-time skipper with 1 other crew and owner with dog taking over 3 weeks. * Interested to build miles as crew, watch leader or part-time skipper for owners sailing around Northern Europe, MED and to the Canaries. * I'm a resourceful engineer with hands on work ethic, very athletic, and very safety conscious, adventurous and open mind toward others. I have a global travel history with cultural stories to tell those wanting to hear them. * Received RYA Atlantic Ocean sailing training in Canary Islands. Have not counted years of safe sailing experience with Regatta flotilla or decades of traditional watercraft on mighty Mississippi River as this pales in comparison to blue water sailing in the Atlantic. * I can team with my wife, Hilde who is a day skipper.
