Sailing for 50 years this year! Built, restored boats, raced to/from Bermuda 17 times, three times in Bermuda 1-2 (singlehanded to Bermuda, double-handed back to Newport) For 2017,2023 my wife was my double-handed partner. She also has 19,000+ ocean miles. I am USCG licensed Master with sail endorsement to 100 tons. Have taught sailing off and on. Just placed 3rd overall in Newport/Bermuda Doublehanded Class. In 2018 my wife and I were unpaid crew in the Oyster World Rally from NZ to Cape Town SA. We were on two different boats, an Oyster 54 and a 66. We would like to see the South Pacific or Europe. I do deliveries on the East Coast, often with my wife as Mate. I also teach boat handling for people uncomfortable around docks! In 2013 I was crew for a delivery of an Oyster655 from Tenerife to Grenada via Mindelo, Cape Verde. Wouldn't mind getting back to either place or somewhere in the Med. 2022 was Captain of Outbound 46 to Antigua. See SAIL magazine Nov/Dec 23 issue for article about that trip!
