Am 66, French, mechanical Engineer, and freshly retired from my CEO/Founder position. I had boats all my life from 420 to Centurion 38. I sailed mainly in Med and South Pacific. One year ago, I bought an AMEL 55 Ketch, "Santo" with the project to sail her to Phuket. I sailed her to Lanzarote, Canarias last june. My programme is to cross Atlantic mid november and cross Panama Canal before berthing on the Pacific Coast around Xmas. Next leg will be Pacific crossing. Then sometime in FP then continue West... The safety of the crew and the boat is paramount and I do not spare my energy and attention to ensure we reach our destination safely. I am the proud father of 3 kids, and have the joy to have already 4 grandchilds. I am presently living in Phuket, Thaland with my new love. New Chapter. Best life ever. She will join me in Tahiti. Good spirit, easy going (unless disrespect), thoughtful, prudent, I love life and meeting good people who know how to listen as much as talking ;). I like cooking and sharing a good glass of wine or Rum, that I am a collector of. I am trying to mix my crews between men and women and seniors and juniors so we get greats interactions. | |
