Hello, I'm Daniel 25 years and a skilled sailor. I've been sailing inshore on the lakes in Holland for almost whole of my live. Participated in the Race of the Classics for Young Professionals from Holland to England. And sailed around the Withsundays. After three years having a hectic life of combining a full time job with a part time Masters I am now on a sabbatical. I already chased my dream to sail across the Atlantic. I participated in the ARC+ 2019 which was the best I have ever done. For that reason I am now looking for a return trip. In the meantime I am following an online course for RYA Yacht Master so I can do the Edam when I am back home. I have proven my skills as a watch leader role during he ARC. I'm easy going person, a motivator, teamplayer and allround in capabilities, I love the ocean and life at sea. I'm currently employed as a Structural Engineer for a Marine Contractor, the ocean is our play field. From that perspective I would love to care for the ocean and take ocean water samples for research. I've been partially inspired for this trip by my current employer who succesfully sailed the Vendeé Globe in 2018. | |
