| I have recently retired from my job of 30 plus years as an engineer for an electric utility. My wife and I are planning to buy a cruising boat of our own in the near future. We both have our ICC certificates, but would like some more real world experience on sailing boats. I enjoy sailing, water activities, playing music. I’m fairly handy fixing things and enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving. We have been on a BVI 8 day charter with a captain. We have also crossed from Jacksonville Florida to the Bahamas in 2019 as crew. | |
