Although I am 75,I am enjoying excellent health.Covid vaccination and two boosters completed! As for my experience I crewed on a Baltic 42 in the eighties and nineties. In 2017 I have crewed on a trip from Portugal to the Canary Islands followed by the ARC,2017. In May 2019 I crossed the Atlantic again now from Saint Martin to Horta, Azores.I am a relatively experienced sailor but feel comfortable to take on any tasks assigned to me. In May 2021 I delivered an UK racer back from Marseille France to Portugal forced by Brexit and Corona. In October I joined Penniless from Malaga to Gran Canaria, via Madeira. I am willing to take responsibility, take orders at any time and willing to "work" as much as is required. Thus, flexible and able to take watches and helm the boat, even alone at night under stable conditions with a backup downstairs. I am able to take powernaps under very difficult conditions to catch up with sleep. I am never suffering from seasickness and able to even prepare food and drinks under tough weather conditions. I like a clean boat and am willing to tide her up as well. I hope there is a captain out there who trusts that I will be an addition to his/her crew and who is willing to take me on board. | |
