| I'm recently retired and looking to do more ocean sailing. My sailing background includes: Dinghy racing - mainly Australian skiffs, including 12's, 14's, 16's, 49ers and 18’s - starting in the 1980's. One-design yacht racing - including Farr 40 championships sailing as a mainsheet trimmer. Off-shore yacht racing - including the Sydney-Hobart race (2 races), the Gosford-Lord Howe Island race (2), Hamilton Island race week (2), Sydney to Southport race, and many other shorter races. I’ve also done yacht deliveries including the return passages from many of the offshore races listed above and cruises from New Caledonia to Fiji and Darwin to Bali. | |
