| Retired now about ten years and living in the Highlands of Scotland. I owned a boat (Beneteau Oceanis 411) in Marmaris, Turkey and sailed in the Aegean for the past six years. I have just sold it this year as I was unable to use it to it's full potential. I hoped to sail the Atlantic at some point in time and have attended the 3 day ARC briefing in England. I'm fit and active and ski regularly. In my professional life, I was a marine telecommunications and IT specialist and spent the last 6 years designing systems for super-tankers. I spent most of my working life in the oil industry. I have an RYA Coastal Skipper qualification and have attended a Radio and First Aid coast.
