Active sailor and racer during my 30's and 40's. Now retired and now my husband and I are RV Nomads, traveling the country in our RV, seeing the country and attending Hot air balloon festivals with our hot air balloon....yes, my husband is a pilot and that is his passion. My passion has always been sailing and now that I have time , I am looking for opportunities to reconnect with the ocean. My husband and I recently chartered a sailboat in Croatia and I discovered that to charter, one needs ASA certifications, so I recently completed those certifications. Previous sailing delivery experiences included Transpac, two Transpac return deliveries, West coast deliveries, Bermuda to Annapolis delivery, Australia to New Caledonia delivery and Expo 98 rally leg from Fiji/Vanatau/Cairns. Multiple racing experiences, including offshore and coastal regattas. Looking forward to assisting a responsible skipper with moving a sailboat. I am very easy going, love to read, non smoking, and can cook and provision a sailboat. | |
