My husband and I have been married for 41 years. I am a 5ft 6in tall, female, physically fit with no medical issues. We're blessed with two grown sons, and two grandsons, ages 3 and 1. After earning a BS Physics degree from Arizona State University, I homeschooled our boys for one year. When they headed off to college, I began teaching math and physics to high school students at Regents School of Austin, a Christian and classical college preparatory school. After 12 wonderful years there, I retired to cruise the Seven Seas. My experience includes crewing (deck, cockpit, helm) on our Nauticat 43 monohull sloop for 10 years. We've logged over 15,000 offshore miles over 5 years. Other interests include outdoor camping including in primitive conditions, cross-country motorcycling, scuba diving, swimming, tennis, knitting and reading. Member Ocean Cruising Club. | |
