| Hello my name is Caroline and together with my partner Bruce we are looking for worldwide sailing opportunities. Between us we have thousands of nautical miles under our belts, coastal, offshore and ocean. Bruce has sailed offshore along some of the toughest coastline in South Africa and I sailed across the Atlantic in 2021 with a small crew of three mostly with no autopilot, hand helming almost all the way! We have sailed together in the Caribbean and extensively around the coast of England, both on our own yacht and crewing on both delivery passages and for Yacht Club Race Series (as pictured). Bruce grew up surfing and transferred his love of the sea to sailing whilst I think I gained my sea legs before my land legs having been sailing since I was a few months old. Bruce is a marine engineer and electrician and has worked in the industry for many years, added of course to the hands on experience of being a yacht owner and dealing with regular yacht maintenance, plus being the go to guy whenever we're sailing on anyone's yacht and something isn't working. He is currently working as a hybrid technology engineer. Having worked in the technology industry in California and the UK as a project manager and later as a teacher and running a small school I have a wide range of life experience to draw on. We're both calm, relaxed, hard-working and positive. I don't do stress and I love to be part of a team and busy. I also love to cook and we're both happy in the galley even in lively conditions on passage. Let's go sailing! | |
