| I have been sailing all my life, mostly 505s, hobie cats and other dinghies but also use a friend's 35ft monohull and various weekend monohull charters out of Vancouver, including several night passages. I did a bareboat chapter with my wife a few years ago on a lagoon 38 in BVI and chartered a Mahe36 in Bahamas for 2 weeks in spring 2022. I would like to get more blue water experience as I am considering buying a cruising cat. I am a retired technology engineer with extensive experience with GPS and wireless communication and hold a commercial pilot's license. Fairly fit, ran a marathon last spring and just finished hiking the alta via 1 trail in Italy. I expect to pay my travel expenses and open to sharing boat costs. Home is vancouver canada. | |
