My British-American fiancee and I recently bought a 27' sailboat moored in Vancouver. We are taking a Day Skipper course in Antigua and Barbuda in the beginning of January 2019. In an effort to gain some miles and be at least mildly appealing to any skippers looking for rookie crew we have paid to take part in the Granada and Barbados Sailing Weeks this winter. We will be doing the deliveries to and from Antigua should gain some night watch shifts and roughly 1300 more nautical miles. We are very keen to jump on someone’s boat to help out and gain experience. We both love to have a good time but are serious about wanting to learn more about sailing. Easy going couple, love to play games, read, swim, eat, drink and be merry. Travel has always been a large part of our lives and we are keen to visit new places. Open to seeing what new options might be out there.
