Hi, I’m Féliz (17) from Belgium and I’m looking for a boat to join the 2024 ARC from Las Palmas tot St Lucia in November 2024. I’m a student at Steiner College Ghent (Belgium) and as part of my thesis I have chosen to cross the Atlantic Ocean and to document this journey. I have asked my father Bruno (52) to join me as I know this is a lifelong dream of his. We love nature, the Beach and Water, I’m a Sea-Scout and love sailing. We have coastal sailing experiences and my father has done the Belgium to Las Palmas trip already. We are looking for a cabin, we like to be active on board, helping to cook, cleaning, running watches, maintenance, etc. My father would like to optimize his bread baking skills on the trip (as he might finally have the time for it). We don’t smoke nor drink. If you would have kids (or pets or both) on board, great! I’m an experienced babysitter and would love to entertain them. Our mother tongue is Dutch, but we speak French and English too. My father is fluent in these 3 languages. We will (of course) pay for our food & participate in expenses but are also willing to pay a fee for the use of our cabin during the trip. We would like to join a family that is crossing or group of friends, we prefer safety over speed. If we have a match, we are willing to come and meet you in person this summer, or we welcome you in our home in Belgium. Looking forward to hearing from you, Thanks for sharing. Warm regards, Féliz & Bruno Our mail: [email protected] | |
