I’m Borja, 35 years old. I have a passion for the sea. I started Dinghy sailing when I was fifteen and switched to cruises a few years ago. I have the Oceanic captain license. Most of my experience has been in coastal races, but I will be skipping a Leopard 44 from Tenerife to Rio (Brazil) this winter. From there I would like to continue the journey across the Pacific crewing in other boats. I am hardworking, and positive. I keep myself in shape by rock climbing, kayaking and surfing. I have been captaining a waterpolo team at National level in Spain, till a few years ago. I am an advanced scuba-diver and also practice free diving. I have the first-aid and water rescue degree. I worked as a lifeguard (quite) a few years ago. Currently, I’m taking a year off, I've developed my career as a Product Manager in London. | |
