| I am an easy going, fun loving explorer and competent sailor. I love to laugh and my personality reflects a light hearted nature. My skills are still relatively new and have been sailing off and on for about 15 years. Some of my experience has been cruising along the east and west US coasts, while most comes from the area in PA where I keep my boat. Several years ago, I completed official sailing courses and competed several certifications, however, my learning style is preferably hands on. I've crewed on several friends boats, specifically for ARC DelMarVa, and sailing out to Catalina Island. USVI and BVI are all time favorite places to for me as I prefer fairer weather. My experience on deck varied as necessary, including taking turns navigating and night sailing, cooking and maintenance, etc. My personal skills and interests are pretty broad- I am a scientist and a nutrition expert/ health coach. My passions are food, travel, exploring, learning, reading and growing. I love learning from new people and places and feel great connection that way. I'm basically a budding human and very blessed. I've had a great many work opportunities , most recently working as a gardener and Chef assistant at a non-profit artist residency on Captiva Island. Currently, I am a full time traveler living in my awesome roof top tent, traveling, filming and exploring all the US has to offer. | |
