Hello, my name is Benoit and my first sailing experience dates back from when I was a kid, as we spent all the summers as a family on my dad's sailboat (Westerly Centaur 26') in the inland waters of the Netherlands. Then there was a gap of nearly 20 years during which I haven't set foot on a sailboat. In 2019 I finally decided to get back into sailing seriously, and passed my IYT bareboat skipper license on lake Ontario, and also passed my RYA day skipper exam. I have been chartering sailboats in the Med during summer vacations these last few years. My goal is to go sailing full times in a few years; and until then I charter sailboats for holidays with my family. I am looking for opportunities to sail and to learn, and to meet new like-minded people and have fun while doing it! I would say that I am an easy-going guy, resourceful and adaptable. I am in excellent physical shape and also a quick learner. I look forward to bringing value as a crew member on your next adventure! | |
