I am an easy going, friendly RYA Yachtmaster Offshore ticket holder, with stcw, and eng1, currently based in Long Island, New York. To me, Sailing and adventure is a passion. I've always been attracted to remote places and sailing is the perfect method to reach some of those remote spots. I'm not afraid of hard work and long hours. I have a very broad general knowledge and sharing knowledge and learning is something i enjoy tremendously. I originally come from a strong Health and Safety background with 7 years' experience as a safety director for in the mining industry. As such the safety of crew, vessel and guests is of utmost importance to me. I enjoy sports on the more extreme side, as I had been a skydiving instructor in my early twenties and also did some paragliding. Though in recent years my attention to sports has diminished somewhat and I would like to become more active again. | |
