| I did a lot of sailing and travelling in my twenties with over 15,000 sea miles. Mostly crewing on deliveries including one to Tahiti in 1987/8. 2020 and I am wanting to get back into yacht sailing. Famliy life took over and I continued sailing dinghies and the odd bit of yacht sailing. Famliy hobby and hobby job has been flying hot air balloons and ballooning / flying in over 15 countries. Children are now grown up and for the last two years I have been a freelance commercial hot-air balloon pilot flying in Burma South Africa India and the UK. Future plans are to get back into sailing before hopefully purchasing my own yacht and tempting the wife to travel the world on it. | |
