LOOKING FOR CREW??? Hi I’m Ally and I would be delighted to help you prepare and accompany you on your next adventure crossing. I am 49 years old air conditioning engineer from Glasgow, Scotland and I have recently sailed over 9000km from Iceland to Ushuaia, South Argentina. WHY SHOULD YOU TAKE ME ON?? I understand & respect that your boat is your home and I would treat it like my own by keeping it clean, tidy and safe at all times. I appreciate the discipline & safety measures needed on board and I always follow instructions from the skipper. Throughout my sailing experience I have shown that I am able to stay calm in stressful and high-pressure situations, successfully working independently or as part of a team as the situation desires. I have my own sailing clothing and full worldwide ocean yearly insurance. I can cook, clean and I am more than willing to take part in the required maintenance jobs and pay my share of the costs. I am always looking to learn from other members of the crew and have completed solo watches day and night. I have my RYA Day Skipper certification and am hoping to obtain enough experience to sit my yachtmaster certification when I return home.
