Currently based in: Atlanta, United States
Looking for: Worldwide opportunities
Experience: 3000 ocean miles / 3000 coastal miles
Easy going Brit with a sense of humor, blue water, night-watch experience who has participated in ARC legs. Looking to develop experience sailing catamarans (mostly) with those more experienced than myself. I enjoy teaching others. Happy and capable of standing watch alone working with radar and AIS. Enjoy being involved in provisioning, passage planning and boat preparation. Can cook an assortment of meals. Interested in and capable of performing various boat repair activities. Several skippers would vouch for my personality, willingness to accept responsibility and help out with all basic boat chores. Perhaps the thing I enjoy the most about longer passages is how a group of strangers quickly become part of a cohesive team, learning from each other and entertaining each other. My last trip across the Caribbean was the first time I seriously got to fish off the back of the boat and I've got a few stories of ones that got away. Non-smoker. Do not drink on passage.
